Phil Hall

Phil is the founding bass player of Flowers For Jayne and played on FFJ's debut album Dangerous Woman. He has been a familiar face in the Australian Music Industry for over four decades.
Phil departed from FFJ in May 2022 due to personal reasons. In 2024, we will see Phil take his place on the frontline with Jayne again for a few showcases.
Phil's a talented multi-intrumentalist. He has recorded and/or performed with iconic bands including Dropbears, Sardine. v, Lime Spiders, Matt Finish and a recent four year run with John Kennedy's '68 Comeback Special with drummer Peter Timmerman and legendary Red Wiggle, guitarist Murray Cook. Phil also took the stage with Flaming Hands playing tenor saxophone. He's often called, the "swiss army knife of indie music".
In 2022 he turned his ear to production and sat in the producers chair for John Kennedy's "Raining Treasure Vol 2" album. In 2023 he recorded again with John and Peter, producing John Kennedy and The New Originals' self-titled album release recorded at legendary Damien Gerard Studios.
